Amplifying Zoom gathering audio

Instructions

Step 1: Open Zoom settings and change the audio output to “PreSonus audio iTwo”. If you do not see an option similar to this, ensure the audio interface is connected via USB.

Remember that the laptop can output outside sources (YouTube, web pages, files, etc.) by changing the system settings.

Troubleshooting

If feedback is generated, immediately mute your audio.

Confirm that no microphones are picking up the output signal, whether caused by being in front of the PA system, having too strong a signal, or other means.

Confirm that there are no Zoom participants nearby who could be creating a feedback loop.

Confirm there are no issues with monitoring, output settings, or unexpected input sources.
